Our approach

LyfeOrb is a local-first personal dashboard. It is designed to remain useful without an account, a backend, or granting every optional permission. LyfeOrb does not sell personal information.

Information LyfeOrb can access

LyfeOrb can access current location, Calendar events, Photos metadata and thumbnails, Motion & Fitness step data, and notification permission only after you choose to connect the related source or start a related action. Each permission is optional.

LyfeOrb records journey coordinates only after you explicitly start a journey. Recording stops when you stop or cancel the journey. LyfeOrb does not request background-location access and does not claim access to unrecorded historical location data.

Storage and processing

Profiles, recorded journeys, favorites, memories, timeline records, saved restaurants, and assistant conversations are stored in LyfeOrb’s local data container on your device. The deterministic assistant processes connected information on the device and does not send questions to an external AI provider.

Nearby place and restaurant searches send a search term and an approximate search coordinate to Apple Maps. Apple processes that request under its own terms and privacy practices. The optional Yelp adapter is disabled in App Store Release builds and is reserved for explicitly configured development builds.

Your controls

Deny or revoke any permission in iOS Settings and continue using unaffected parts of LyfeOrb.
Use More → Delete Local Data to remove LyfeOrb’s locally stored records.
Remove the app to remove its local application container, subject to normal device backup behavior managed by Apple.

Purchases

Apple processes LyfeOrb Plus purchases and subscription management. LyfeOrb reads verified StoreKit transaction status to determine whether Plus is active. LyfeOrb does not receive or store payment-card details.

Children

LyfeOrb is not directed to children under 13.
